Does my 40 hr hazwoper training go with me

Does my 40 hr HAZWOPER training go with me? In other words, if I leave the company that paid for my HAZWOPER, do I lose my certification?

Regardless of where you did your 40 Hour or 8 Hour HAZWOPER courses or who paid for it, the certificate has your name on it.

The problem may be having a copy for your records. You must be able to prove that you took the course by providing a copy of it. Be sure you get a copy and scan it in to your files on your computer hard drive or email it to yourself and keep that email.

A company may pay for your course as it is a requirement to work there. This normally doesn't happen unless you have additional skill sets that are in high demand.

If you're looking at entry level work that requires the HAZWOPER (which is great!), then you'll probably be responsible for paying for it.
