To pass the HAZWOPER test is not hard. It's just long and frustrating especially if you're taking the HAZWOPER as a requirement rather than as a skill set.
Those that are good test takers will tell you it's easy to pass using this process:
On multiple choice, 2 answers are so wrong, you can immediately discard those. Leaves you two and you're now 50/50. One will make the most sense.
Testing for advancement is quite entertaining as it's a multiple choice test. How Sailors do it:
Smack your four fingers as hard as you can on the desk. The answer is the one that corresponds with the finger that now hurts the most.
Another is "When in doubt, Charlie (C) out!"
Another favorite is to look at the second hand on the clock, 0-14 seconds is A, 15-29 is B and so on.
Another way to ensure you'll pass the HAZWOPER test is to take it with us. You can take each test as many times as you need to pass it. Best part is, the questions are the same each time you take it, just in a different order.
